What really happened to FP Skate Shop?

On February 28, 2026 Delhi’s skate community quietly lost one of its most authentic spaces.

FP Skate Shop has officially closed its physical store due to ongoing space and rising rent issues.

For years, FP was never just about selling boards.

It was where first setups were built, where people came to figure things out, and where sessions across the city often began. In a place where skate infrastructure is still growing, FP became a central point that kept the scene connected.

What made FP stand out wasn’t marketing or branding.

There was no forced hype. No chasing trends.

Just a real skate shop, built by people who actually skate. The focus stayed simple, support the culture and keep the community moving forward.

Inside those walls, a generation of Delhi skaters found guidance, gear and a space that felt like theirs.

While the physical store is now shut, FP isn’t gone.

For now, it continues online, staying connected to the community while preparing for what comes next. And according to the team, this is only temporary, a new space is already part of the plan.

And even with the doors closed for now, what FP built doesn’t just vanish, it carries on through every skater, every session, and every part of the city it helped shape.

Until the doors open again, the culture keeps rolling.
